EMC High-Tech Driving System!

We wrapped up an installation for an Army Veteran today! Our Destinations Mobility EMC certified technicians installed an Electronic Gas/Brake driving system, with Zero-Effort Steering, & Secondary control switches.

The hand control and steering wheel are equipped with a tri-pin device designed for a person with limited gripping strength. We also reloacted the window switches and reinstalled up higher and out of the way of the hand control.

We are proud to make every individual a driver again and when we are able to make someone who is a partial quadriplegic a driver again, it is very rewarding!

Visit our hand controls page for more information or call us for a review of your mobility needs!

Where do you need us to go? We will be there!

Courtney Casey, our adaptive equipment sales specialist travels all over California and Nevada to families in need of wheelchair accessible vehicles. On March 23, 2016 he was visiting with a family in Silver Springs, Nevada at Fort Churchill. While he was there, snapped this great shot of our wheelchair accessible van in the desert! We will try to get there if you need us.

Wedding Day Surprise! Wheelchair Van Rental

John Kerr contacted Destinations Mobility wanting a wheelchair accessible vehicle for his wedding day to surprise his bride to be. We provided him with a new 2013 side entry Amerivan. We had it fully cleaned and fueled up. John’s groomsmen picked up the van on the morning of the wedding. After the wedding, John sent us this email:

“I just wanted to send a quick thank you for making everything possible for the van rental. I’ve attached a photo of me and my bride. We had a perfect night, and the van was a great surprise for her.”

You’re welcome John! Congratulations to you and Krystle!
