About Us



Our History

Founded in 1978, Paratransit, Inc. is a private 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation providing transportation services to people with disabilities, seniors, all mobility challenged individuals, families and caregivers, our honored veterans, and related agencies throughout the Sacramento California area. Destinations Mobility’s sales and service area includes California, Nevada, and Southern Oregon.

With up to 3,000 trips scheduled per weekday — and nearly a million trips annually — Paratransit, Inc., is key to maintaining independence and conducting activities of daily living for thousands of individuals using wheelchairs, scooters, driving controls, transfer seats, and mobility assistance equipment.

With this service background and an understanding of our customer base, Paratransit’s Board of Directors launched a new division in 2012: Destinations Mobility.


To provide safe, affordable wheelchair accessible vehicles and mobility equipment to physically challenged individuals.


To become the preferred mobility dealer on the West Coast by providing a business model that serves the local disabled community through our Mission so that every person can maintain their independence.

Affordable: This division was founded on the idea of being able to provide a wide range of mobility transportation options at non-profit affordable prices. We understand that many of our customers have very little income to spend and many people end up sacrificing their independence due to the expense. We strive to listen to our customers’ concerns and develop appropriate mobility transportation options for them based on their budgets. We want to be your key to Independence!

Division Founder: Richard Rosebush


We dedicate this space to the memory of our division founder, Richard Rosebush, who passed away in late June 2014 after a valiant four-month battle against pancreatic cancer. We honor his 25 years of business experience and knowledge dedicated to the mobility industry and the creative vision that became Destinations Mobility.

Richard wanted everyone to have the freedom and independence to travel. He had the foresight to assemble a unique leadership team who shares his vision and values and will lead Destinations Mobility into the future giving every consumer the highest level of customer service in the industry and providing a wide selection of accessible vehicles and mobility equipment at nonprofit prices. In Richard’s memory our team will make a difference in the lives of our customers and will always do the right thing.

Courtney J. Casey, Adaptive Equipment Sales Specialist Courtney is well known in the Veterans and Mobility Industry communities, with over 1,000 vehicle sales in 29 years of service. Complex driving solutions are his specialty; matching the right vehicle with the best conversion and equipment to satisfy customer needs. Courtney travels throughout California and Nevada. Brian Duymich, Service Manager Service Manager Brian Duymich has worked in sales and service management for 25 years. He’s best known as the master when it comes to solving client’s special needs for adaptive equipment and service. He loves educating clients on vehicle conversions and vehicles. Joshua W. Josephian, Senior Service Technician, NMEDA Certified Technician Joshua has completed the NMEDA Certification Program and is currently the 8th person in North America to obtain the prestigious NMEDA Certified Technician status. His diversified automotive background and superior customer service skills make him a great fit for our team and customers.
